Group Blog: Click on Go To Blog and read the blog. Click on New Post and respond with your answers to the blog questions. To return to the Group page click on My Groups, select the group to return to the group main page.

Q & A: Go to the Q & A section. You may ask questions about the class and group in this section. To return to the Group page click on My Groups, select the group to return to the group main page.

Assignments: Go to the Assignments section. The due date of the assignment is at the beginning of the line. Roll the mouse over the assignment and it will become highlighted. Click on the highlight and read the assignment, then follow the instructions to complete the assignment. The Assignment is due in class on the due date. To return to the Group page click on My Groups, select the group to return to the group main page.

Forum: Click on Go to Forum. Under Threads select the name of the thread you wish to respond to. Type response within the box and click on Post to Thread when complete OR Create a new thread by putting a header in the box called Thread Name. Then in the First Post box type your thoughts. When complete click on Create New Thread. To return to the Group page click on My Groups, select the group to return to the group main page.

Content: In the Content section you will find information regarding the course. There will be links for you to follow to complete assignments. Roll over the content and it will highlight the line. Then click again to read the content. To return to the Group page click on My Groups, select the group to return to the group main page.

Orientation: This class will be comprised of both online and in class assignments.

To access the online portion of the class the student will need to go the following website:  http://ectolearning.com/Default.aspx

Click on “sign up now – it’s free” button and create a login and password.

Once you have the logged in and followed the directions onscreen to create your group go the section on the lower left of “Associated Groups/Communities”. Click on “Add Group” and when prompted enter the join code of “AromaOne”. This will add you to the class group page called “Aromatherapy”.

Please view the Assignments section to do the assignments due for class. See the Content section on how to use each of the sections appropriately. Click on each of the selections to learn how to use the sections.
