We're glad you're enjoying RS3
PvM
I've tried a lot of top-of-the-line pvms, excluding the team pvm
RuneScape gold
. I am refreshed after learning about new bosses. I am glad that some of these bosses scales with difficulty, which makes it more interesting and less burn out inducing. As you may have guessed, OSRS is limited in this area and the mark of a skilled player after a certain level is clearing content quickly. There's no real scaled difficulty meter (at most until OSRS raids 3) and OSRS PVM basically boils down the process of clicking a tile click some prayers, click the bossand repeat. It's a challenge to cycle offensively and defensively in rs3 is challenging but rewarding when you hit that perfect cycle or nail defensives.
EOC
This is what caused me to give up in the past. As I've grown from being a naive noob that would chop magic logs throughout the day, I've had the chance to take note of the value of. I am still questionable on full manual and stuff up, but it's a fantastic ability ceiling to work on. Revolution is quite a nice feature as well. It took about three weeks to get used to the information overload the game hurls at you but after acclimatizing, it is quite enjoyable.
PvP
From OSRS where NH the pking game is designed to be tribrid with overheads my expectation for rs3 was one where people would tribrid with offensive and defensive capabilities. In essence, I expected about 250+ actions per minute activity and absolute extreme 0.6-second games that were chess-like. This is not the reality and the current state of pvp is far worse than OSRS which is known for being dead.
Life quality
On OSRS
OSRS gold
there is a client named runelite that includes plugins for games that make the game much more enjoyable than the slow official client. Rs3 could use one or several of the QoL features that are needed for a variety of things starting from the potions that don't stop your character from running once you drink them, to ground markers and indicators in addition to NPC timers and markers for spawn. There's plenty that could be improved but it's a bit like being sidelined by MTX variations promos.
