Bosa is one of the most skilled edge rushers in the league. It's hard to complain about his grade.

Bosa recognizes that this isn't the ceiling. Bosa could be in the upper 90s by the end of the season when Madden will adjust his ratings accordingly. In fact, it might not be surprising that Bosa is the second-highest-rated defensive lineman in the league, second only to Aaron Donald.

The reason for this is Staley. Bosa has already been elite in his career , but Staley has made a living off of making elite players play even better. Staley has had success with Khalil Mack and Von Miller. Mack enjoyed a stellar year as an outside linebackers coach under Staley and hasn't had that experience since.

Mack has clearly been a great player but he has not been able to duplicate the performance of the season in 2018. He was the most effective matchup with Staley before he was dealt to cheap Madden 22 coins the Denver Broncos with Vic Fangio.
